At Blue Water Home Loans, we do things differently. We’re not interested in quick wins or cookie-cutter lending advice. We’re here to help ambitious Australians design the financial future they dream of — through strategic property investment, inside and outside of super.
My journey began long before I entered the mortgage industry. In high school, while working at McDonald’s, I was awarded the “Shortcut King” — a nod to my habit of finding faster, smarter ways to get things done. Years later, as a dedicated teacher, I applied the same mindset to my financial future.
I loved teaching — it’s the most rewarding job in the world — but like many, I realised hard work alone wasn’t going to build wealth. My wife Jessica and built our stock and crypto portfolios, but one of our biggest turning point came when we turned our attention to real estate.
With a growing family and a deep concern for our boys’ future, we asked ourselves:
“If housing is unaffordable now, what will it look like in 10–15 years when they need a home?”
That question lit a fire under us.
